

I put together these notes on identifying damselflies in Missouri and use them to id the damselflies in my photos. This page also includes a checklist of Missouri damselflies put together by Linden Trial, Missouri Department of Conservation.

I received permission from the Journal of the Kansas Entomological Society to post a list of Treehoppers of Missouri from a 4 part article by Dennis D. Kopp and Thomas R. Yonke, 1973-74. The scientific names have beem adjusted to reflect current taxonomy according to Nomina Insecta Nearctica.

A copy of my master's thesis in environmental history can be found in the library depository (D13 .X 988 B785) at the University of Missouri - Columbia. An edited version was published in the Missouri Historical Review (86 (3): 229-247) in 1992. That issue can be found in Ellis Library (F 461 .M59).
