First wildflower walk of the year at Rock Bridge. Everything is blooming much earlier than normal. Randal Clark usually heads out to find Harbinger of Spring during the first walk, but this year it was already done blooming.

Bowl and Doily Spiders on Foggy Morning

March 25th, 2012

Wow! When I arrived at Columbia Canine Sports Center to take photos at the UKC agility trials, the unusual shape of a spider web caught my attention. I walked closer for a better look and a photo and then noticed lots of others in the adjacent field. The fog and blooming red buds and lots of these unusual spider webs were amazing. Later that day, I identified the webs as Bowl and Doily Spiders.
